is it advisable to take cash advance ?

i have a tesco credit card balance zero available 2,500
also have a sainsbury one , although i have yet to accept it , so in theory i can just sign the slip send it back and get sent a card ,

is it advisable to draw some cash out on the tesco one and then transfer the balance to the sainsbury card ?

bit of a dillemma as i need some ready cash
my favourite food is spare ribs

    I wouldn't advise is unless you absolutely must have cash in your hand. Apart from the high cost of borrowing, there is a risk that Sainsbury's change their mind leaving you up the creek.

    No stoozer would withdraw cash on a credit card.

  • Make some purchases for friends and family with your card (if it is 0% on purchases) and get the cash off of them.
    The 0% on purchases period may not be that long on the card though, so check it out first.
