Warning: Don't let e-tyres take money!

Just had a bad experience with a company called E-tyres: they advertise on the net that they fit tyres at your home within 24 hours!

I placed an order yesterday, before 2.p.m, after checking first that they would be able to accept this order, they said yes, so I placed the order, giving them my debit card no. At 3.p.m, I received a confirmatory email that the job had been accepted and that I would get a call from the tyre fitter. Checked bank - money taken.

At 6.06 pm received a call from fitter "can't do it tomorrow mate - not in your area!" I asked about other fitters - "phone head office" - asked about refund for tyre - "phone head office" . Immediately I phoned head office .....yes - office closed:(

At 8am this morning, I called them ....they are "looking into the matter" ..gave them 1 hour to come back to me .....no phone call .... I've phoned them again .....once again they are "looking into it"

I need them to refund my money in order that I can get a tyre somewhere else ...I need it for work tonight ...

At the very least, this company should not take the money until they have confirmed that they can do the job at the time that is acceptable to the purchaser.

Moral of this story ....don't use E-tyres!!!

Didn't use credit card .... used debit card :mad:

....and STILL no phone call from them !!
