For uni, many people (including myself) are expected to do anything up to 40 hours personal study per week.Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked

Are both the children taking advantage of half price public transport for students?
This doesn't exist everywhere.
There are three overlapping systems here, it's well worth checking and checking again as IME the left hand doesn't seem to know what the right hand is doing!
It took me a year to find all three of our systems - you have to ask the correct section of the public transport network, or the correct department in your place of study.
We have a one year photocard system available via Metro which makes daily/ weekly/ monthly travel passes half price (both bus and local train) even out of term time. A system directly from college/ uni where you can buy a termly bus pass half price, which only covers the main bus company in the area and not the holidays. Then finally the young persons railcard (local and national trains) which is also open to mature students but is 'only' a third off.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0
