Hyundai - £250 Voucher off New Car!

I recently bought a new Hyundai i30 (Love it!!)... I have been sent two "Refer a Friend" vouchers. This will give you £250 towards the cost of a new car (and me a £50 M&S voucher!).

If you are definately about to sign for a new Hyundai, please PM me, and I will send it off for you. Please only do it if you are definitely going to buy one and register it before 31st March, as I only have two forms. They cant be sold to anyone else as they will be in your name.

Terms and Conditions just say "If they decide to buy and register a new Hyundai before 31st March 2010, we'll give them £250 towards the cost" Doesnt list any other conditions on the forms themselves.

Hope this may be useful for someone :) :money:

    Many Thanks

  • Is this a Hyundai or dealer voucher?

If Hyundai, do a deal with the dealer first to get money off list price then show them the voucher. Presumably the dealer will just recoup the cost from the manufacturer direct, so in effect it costs them nothing? The dealer still have their margin to move on.

I believe this is a voucher sent by Hyundai to customers who purchased on the scrappage scheme in the last year, intended to be passed on to friends/family.

There are already reports on HotUKDeals of Hyundai refusing to do the happy returns scheme (whereby if you bought a car on scrappage in the last year you can upgrade to a 10 model at a relatively low cost) which was devised by Hyundai because there's not much money in it for them.

I can't see that they would go back on an offer though once you bring the voucher out. It's not like it's a voucher for £1000.

HI, Yes its a voucher sent to me by Hyundai becuase I bought a new car with them last year. We get two vouchers each. Another MSE user has successfully used my first one and got £250 off his new car :)

I would get your car price as low as possible, and then only when it comes to the last minute, mention the £250 voucher :)
  • Hi, My daughter is definately going to buy the hyundai i10 this next week, do you still have the voucher please. I would be very grateful if you could send it to me. Thank you.
