I just arranged a Life Of Balance with the Halifax of 4.94% plus 3% fee.

I think this is a fantastic deal. I had my 12 months 0% come to an end and then transferred my MBNA one over.

If you are holding a Halifax card with no blalance give them a call 02920 486302.

In my opinion you'll never get a better deal. Minimum payment is also just 1% if you are struggling. I appreciate it's better to pay more but this is far cheaper than a loan. :T

Oooooh this is very interesting. I've just been accepted for a Santander Zero card, hoping to transfer my Halifax balance of 4500 onto that (Halifax currently at 19.5%) but also want to shift my MBNA balance back onto my Halifax card, so hopefully when BT from the card goes through I'll wait a month and see if I can transfer the MBNA (20.9%) APR onto the Halifax card. Fingers crossed.
