Nice hotel in Berlin, please?

My partner & I really enjoy a three night break in continental cities, Berlin is next!

Any help welcome on central hotels and any other useful information.

We stayed at the Artotel City Center West when we went to Berlin 3 years ago and it was a fantastic hotel.

Stayed at the Westin Grand a few years back on a priceline bid of about £40 (I think).

The first 'Bourne' film had scenes from here.

Not sure how easy it is to get that now, but I also see that the Art Otel comes up on PL too.

I'd recommend doing a search on https://www.venere.com - really helpful website with lots of good maps/reviews, and reasonable prices too (which you also don't have to pay in advance!)

If staying at the weekend, Berlin's 4 star hotels often have very good rates, especially the larger ones. Have a browse through the chain hotels' own websites.

holiday inn express was great vfm and only 10 min walk to potzdamer platz. also had a couple of good priced restaurants across from hotel.

Yep Holiday Inn Express is very good value, excellent location, free breakfast and if you are a member of their Priority Club Rewards (Free to Join at https://www.priorityclub.com) you will get points towards free stays in future.

Have a look on Ebay (seriously) search for berlin hotel, ticking european union for location. Loads of cheap offers on 4 and 5* hotels, just takes time looking up reviews on Tripadvisor etc. to see which are any good.
