Do I need to report selling a litter of puppies

I am on IS. My son is serving in the army and is overseas so I am looking after his dogs. One of them has had a litter of pedigree puppies. Besides it being a nightmare I am very worried about my IS claim. I need to sell the puppies for him and then give him all the profit from them. I am unsure if I need to inform the IS about this because I will not actually get income myself. Has anyone else had this problem?

The OP is the recipient of the money, I doubt it'd matter, butBlackpool_Saver wrote: »I would tell them.

Put the money directly into his bank account not yours, but I would tell them too.Between two evils, I always pick the one I never tried before0

I don't think the OP needs report it. There's no change to their own circumstances.
The Income Support office won't be interested in the slightest & it's a total waste of their time to report it.0 -

That's what I would do as well.
Keep a copy of the advert saying the price he wants and put the money straight into his account.
The dog will be registered in his name at the vet too so you could show them a copy of the invoice/vaccination record as well if you ever need to prove ownership.0 -

If the money goes directly into his bank account and you are recieving nothing then you have no income to declare.0
