Hi,
We are having major probs with our connection and running 2 xboxes and a laptop at same time. My husband and son both play at same time and one of them always get kicked out the game as their connection so bad.
Have upgradede to virgin 20mb which made things worse and when we called virgin they said it was because we had an old router which basically couldn't handle the speed!
Having looked online and thru avforums i think this one below:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000PLSAII/ref=ord_cart_shr?_encoding=UTF8&m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE
Could someone with knowledge about these have a look to see if they think it would be the right thing?
It has the QoS which priorotises online gaming, the one below doesn't,but is it really worth the extra as otherwise it seems as good?
http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000Y9PAXY/ref=ord_cart_shr?_encoding=UTF8&m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE
Thankyou,any help appreciated!

Do you mean you are having problems with the wireless connection between the xboxes and router rather than the speed of the broadband ?
If so I would suggest if at all possilble you connect the xboxes to the router using network cables and you will see a vast improvement. Then you can decide if it is worth pursuing the wireless option.0 -
or call ask Virgin and ask for the free router that u should have been offered when u upgraded your broadband.4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0

My husband's xbox is wired into the router as its next to it and my son's is wireless upstairs with an xbox wireless connector. The trouble is when either or both of them play xbox they get kicked out as connection so bad. It is not a problem with our speed as done a speedtest and 9.3mbps. We are going to upgrade to 20mb broadband once we have a new router.Just want to buy the best one for gaming...any ideas pls??0

Basic googling my earlier comment about xbox networking conflicts in your last thread might have bought this up.

in answer to your current question try one of these?
