credit cards / loans taken at least 6 years ago.

This maybe a silly question but 6 years ago i applied for credit card and loans under my name only, yet they nearly always took my husbands income into account even though he was not named on the loan or credit card agreement. Something keeps saying that this is or was not good practise compared to how they loan you money now.
Do you think i may be able to put a case forward to follow this up.
Loans and credit cards in my name only totalled £42k.
please help

If you are looking for them to be written off on that basis then you have no chance since the bank did not force you to sign the agreements. If the agreements are not in compliance with the law then they may be able to be written off.
Are there any charges on the credit cards or PPI on the loans that may be able to be reclaimed?0
