Hi
Recently graduated and have a job commencing at the end of Sept 2006 on £22k. Would like to buy a home NOW i.e. before starting work. Will anyone lend before starting work on the strength of an accepted job offer? Job is with a PLC, non-probationary and on a Graduate Accelerated Programme. What income multiple might be available? 100% possible?
All replies welcomed!
Thanks

HI there
So long as you have the contract there is one lender that I know of that will lend to you now before you commence the employment and they are also able to offer yu a 100% mortgage. They do not work off income multiples they work off affordability. one thing they would ask for is a squeaky clean credit record and proof that you can afford the repayments on the mortgage before you start the job. How much is it that you would like to borrow?

Didn't read all the details as it didn't apply to me, but when i recieved Bradford and Bingley magazine yesterday i'm sure there were mortgages to suit yourself. They were aimed at graduates and people who hadn't yet graduated. The B and B website will probably have more details. Hope this helps.
