Balance Transfer Cards for consolidating Catalogue debts

my wife has three shopping catalogues that she has managed to clock up a bit of a debt on... i have just realised that each month she is paying back about £100 off the balance, but each of them are charging about £10 each on admin/interest...
i want to get rid of this debt by transferring the three balances to a single card with (preferably) 0% for, say, 12 months to give me a chance to clear it fully...

... i applied for a virgin 16month card, but my application was rejected ... then i saw that Santander have a Zero card with 0% charges for their current A/C and mortgage holders... i just spoke to them, and they say that catalogue transfers are not permitted

is there a list anywhere of cards that can be used to clear catalogue debts???

many thanks in advance for your help.

If you want to do a balance transfer from a catalogue account you'll need to pay off the balance using a credit card you already have, and then transfer that balance to the new card. Bit of a juggle, but works!!

Shame you got declined for the Virgin as you can transfer money to your current acc. Not sure if any other banks offer this facility. Someone else can prob advise on this.

One solution I can offer is to get a CC with 0% on purchases. If you then put regular spend (where you norm use cash) on this card, and use the money you would have spent to pay of the catalogue account you will in effect transfer the debt to 0%. Food, petrol, presents etc will all add up to a sizeable amount, and even better than a 0% BT card you will have no fee to pay.
