Motor lease company in adminstration - my deposit has been lost!

I am under a 9 month lease through Flexxileases (one stop car shop limited) which is due to end mid March.
The company went into adminstration last week and i recieved a letter from PWC acting as the administrators telling me that the position of my contract was "under review"! My rental agreement is subject to the consumer credit act and the company is holding a refundable deposit against damage.
After a conversation with PWC today I have been told that they would like the car back asap, that I cannot stop paying for the car or Toyota financial services (who I have no agreement with) will sieze the car immediately. obviously, my concern is the deposit (£400) which PWC have stated will NOT be returned.
What are my rights / options here ?

I'd be telling them they are welcome to the car, WHEN they have repaid your deposit.Dogs have owners...my cat has slaves...0

Surely once you return the car whether its seized by Toyota isn't your concern?
I would advise them that either you keep the car and payments or they can have the car and no payments.
Sadly your deposit is as good as gone I would suggest.
Maybe contact Toyota directly and see if they will sell you the car without the middleman if its an option you want.0 -
I think you should take legal advice, I believe in these circumstances you can offset any debts a company owe you against assets of theirs that you may hold (or amounts you may owe them.)0

This evening Mr Stubbs from Anglia UK called at my door to arrange collection of my vehicle on behalf of Toyota Financial Services. I showed him the letter from PWC and he took down the details, he has gone for now. Obviously now I will seek some legal advice, as my fear is they will just take the car (it is parked on a public road). My agreement is not with Toyota, it is with the defunkt Flexxilease, and subject to the Consumer Credit Act conditions. Any ideas on my high level options here?0

I suspect you might be wrong here. Are you noy paying Toyota Financial Services monthly? Did the deposit go via Flexxilease?
Start checking who you are paying, who you have paid etc. If I were you I might be tempted to stop my direct debit early and then you can either pay them manually or fight them if they get the car early.
Only two months to go so losses are not going to be huge luckily.0
