Slippy ceramic floor tiles

I'm buying a house and I noticed the ceramic floor tiles from the front gate to the door, about 4 foot, are very slippy when they are wet.
Is there anything I can spray/paint on them to make them less slippy, or will I have to use a mat?

Thanks

I saw a product at a trade show which you apply on to tiles to stop them s;lipping. It really worked but can't remember what it was called. Google 'anti slip tile applications' and see what comes up.
