EuroStar cancellations - what about the cost of my holiday?

I was affected by the EuroStar cancellations just before Christmas and I am trying to get my money back. EuroStar have said they will cover the cost of the tickets as well as "reasonable" costs e.g. hotels, taxi fares, meals.

Would I also be entitled to the cost of the holiday package I had bought from Disney that I was unable to make use of as I could not get to Paris? The holiday was due to run from Sat 19th Dec until Tue 22nd Dec. I haven't included this on my compensation form but should I?

Both of these purchases were made on the same credit card and so if EuroStar refuse to pay can I look for a refund from the credit card company?

Thanks for any advice,
N

    What about your travel insurance?

That is your only route for refund unless Eurostar say otherwise.

Credit card company will point you in that direction as well, surely?

  • I agree with Withabix - you should claim through your holiday insurance
