I would like to hire a car for the occasional long weekend or week away in this country.
Can anyone suggest a good reliable comparison site - or hire company, please? Each comparison site i've tried only wants to link the car hire to a holiday abroad.
Am i being dim or is there a better way?

Some tips:-
Don't hire from an airport (they have higher charges which they tend to pass on)
Enterprise aren't bad. But you do need to search around.
