fast laptop

hi i currently have a R700 laptop with a17'' screen & a t8100 processor im in the market for a newer laptop can anybody recommend something more powerful with a 15, 16 or 17'' screen

    What's wrong with the one you have? If you aren't playing games, r700 is a decent spec.

    Closed is right, Your laptop is pretty fast, why you need it faster? Your not going to get much faster than what you have without buying a briefcase thick monster like something from Alienware and then your bank account will be wafer thin.

    Stating your budget would help people advise you.

    As you have a decent laptop already would getting the kids a cheap one and you keeping the R700 be an option?

    Read some good reviews about Samsung R700.

    My laptop speeded up with I changed from Vista to Windows 7.
    I went away and now I'm back.:j:j
