Dell - help!

Okay, i ordered my "free" upgrade kit for Windows 7 from Dell on 9th January (had to pay £12.00 for shipping) was due to be delivered on 19 January. Followed the tracking via UPS in USA everything was fine and it reported it was on schedule now this has changed and it appears to be stuck at a depot since 18 January, I rang UPS and they said they could look into this for me took all my details, put me on hold and came back and said they need Dell to contact them and raise the issue due to data protection or something. I have spent 45 mins on the phone to Dell this morning being passed from one department to another and no one seems to know who can help me - does anybody have any idea which department i should be speaking to or better still a number to ring? The original number that i rang i got from another thread on this forum.

    How did you pay, if you paid on your credit card contact them, tell them it has not been delivered. They will contact Dell and it usually causes them to contact you, else check their web site.

    Does your order appear on the Dell website?

    Change the subject line to "Shipment delayed/not received"

    Include invoice number for your upgrade and any other relevant details.
  • My order is showing as shipped on Dells website, and i can track it on the UPS website however it is stuck at the Tamworth Hub and has been there since 18 January, I have since spoken to Dell after been passed around various different departments and they agreed to send me another one after UPS have informed them that they have lost the shipment, however UPS have said they need Dell to contact them to instigate a trace, still don't seem to be getting anywhere. I paid by credit card so i will contact them.
