Laying carpet in strips

house looks lovely.
i'd use tiles. my house was stripped and refitted 3 years ago. things are just starting to go wrong now, i wouldnt like a wearing carpet to add to the list of jobs to be done.
go for black and white and then buy these http://www.megachess.com/pteak.htm0 -
i would rather let them mark the walls getting the carpet inside, than glue/piece the carpet together after.
the cost of making good the walls would be very small.
id be amazed if a carpet would not go up any stairs or thro any window.Get some gorm.0
