It was not a stab at yourself but if the company is stated as VI spinners both should be discounted if someone believes this one is spin and VI.
I would not say house prices are falling because RM asking price index is down then say this survey is meaningless.
It makes the asking price survey just as meaningless if I believed that.0 -
Prices I predicted at the start of last year would be higher by Autumn 09.
Now I'm predicting prices will be significantyl higher by the end of 2010.
As I said a long time ago, the bears always miss the bottom and delay until at last the green lights are lit, but by then prices have risen 20% plus from bottom.
Bears - why do you fret so much over hoarding money? Take a chance and take a 25 year view. All will be well.0 -
Every major VI got it wrong in the beginning of 2009, with the vast majority going for further drops. No reason to believe anyone will get it right this time either.
Prefer to wait and see, than listen to other people wishlists.0 -
Putting aside issues surrounding the impartiality or otherwise of the poll I think it is only logical that people will be expecting house prices to increase this year especially given the relatively strong performance of house prices over the last 6 months of last year.
The value of it, well it points to general sentiment about the economy improving and as such must be seen as a good thing especially if it starts to encourage consumers to spend in the shops (without excessive borrowing of course)."There's no such thing as Macra. Macra do not exist."
