There is only one main street, so you walk up there taking in the shops, under the archway for more shops , up the hill to antique quaint shops and then arrive at the Vathedral which is quite impressive (you can have a picnic on the grounds if you wish). You could also take a stroll down the river and feed the ducks and swans, or go out on the lake in a barge or boat!
Quite a few places to eat and drink on the main street.0 -
Bridge Cafe for a posh scone and superb coffee.
Walk up Steep hill (it is aptly named) to Cathedral and Castle0 -
Personally, being a lazy sod, I'd start at the cathedral and castle then walk down the hill, as it is indeed very steep!!!
There used to be a really nice coffee house in the centre (Stokes), old fashioned Tudor looking building if you fancy a t-break.

I live in Lincoln. Deffinately visit the cathedral. The castle is very close and is also well worth a visit. As you make your way down into the town all the shopping area is either side on the main high st, including the waterside shopping center. Lincolns a great place to visit.I came into this world with nothing and I'm gonna leave with nothing.0
