Not sure if many people are still using a lineone email accounts, mine has stopped working completely for the last two weeks!
I've contacted talk talk that replied and said it was a billing issue and I would be contacted by that team. I have since chased twice and had no response and tonight found out my address is now returning mail as
'Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:'
Anyone else experiencing anything similar since talk talk took over tiscali? Or is it just my account?

Lineone is now a tiscali/talktalk company isn't if??
As far as I am aware their mail server is still working.
Have you changed firewall settings by any chance?Computers are like me, I get up in the morning and work...until I stop.0 -
Mine's still working, though I redirected it to an account at ntlworld 8 years ago and now collect that via a gmail account. A test message sent just now reached gmail pretty much immediately.
Check your firewall, and also your account settings in whatever mail client you use; if it's Outlook Express, re-enter your password as it sometimes takes a notion to ignore it. Worth a try anyway.

Thought I would update this thread as I've been reminded in a PM. The billing issue I had with Talk Talk was related to a spam mail filter I had apparently signed up for when I started the account.
They had tried to collect the money in December and failed and send me a letter (since moved) and called me three times (old phone number) I doubt these things were true. I asked don't you email people seeing its an email account they said no.
Anyway cut a long story shot they blocked my account (it was bouncing back emails) charged off the 'debt' to a debt collection agency and the £6 charge ended up costing me £26 after the collection agency fees were added. I paid the debt collection company the full amount as I didn't want it escalating any further and was desperate to use the email again.
I made a complaint and they said they would refund the original £6. I have since received a bill via email from them for the next charge of £1.29? Funny how they said they don't send bills via email! I don't know what this charge is for unless Talk talk have changed to charging to quarterly.
However since all this I cant access my email through mac mail so I can only use via the webmail.
I'm in the process of switching over to a free googlemail account that has better spam filtering for free and you don't end up dealing with debt collection agencies! Following these dealing I wouldn't recommend talk talk to anyone!0
