Multiple addresses on credit search

Hi,
I am just wondering if I have to put ALL addresses i have ever lived at in a credit search to check my credit rating?? I have moved a lot in the last 10 years or so due to doing 2 degrees and starting work and moving to new jobs in different cities etc so probably would have to list about 8 addresses - most of these being student lets. Most correspondence has always gone to my home address! Having never had any problems with credit and getting credit/store cards etc I now have started being rejected - this has happened on a few occasions so want a credit search to try and find out why. Would all the different addresses affect it and is it necessary that i list them all?? x

  • I would also like to know the answer to this, I have lived in a number of student lets over the last 7 years. I checked my credit report a few years ago and entered every address I have ever lived at, I now think this was a mistake as they were never my permanent address, and I remained on the electoral roll at my parents address, and very rarely had post delivered there, maybe the odd mobile phone bill.

Can I write to the credit agency and have these addresses removed or will they not allow this now as some of them do have mobile phone contracts etc which relate to that address?
