just a quick question has anyone heard of the above solicitors .sister had call about making claim for ppi .told her not to use them she would be able do it all herself for the price of a stamp. any info would be helpful thanks in advance.

I have not heard of them myself, but you can always check them out with the Minstry of Justice (MOJ) for more information on them:

Maybe others have on here though, but your right in suggesting that your sister has a go herself, good for you for telling her this.

I would be wary of these claims companies, tell her many on here have these calls, they make it sound good and tempting.
And of course they will charge as well I expect where if you do this yourself, as you know you get to keep everything if successful.
