Can i claim Job Seekers????

I have recently come off benefits (September last year). I found myself a job pizza delivering. My car has broken down now, i have no way of affording another, so i cant do the job! We live in the middle of no where so getting to the shop even to do an instore job isnt even possible.
Will i be able to re claim benefits or will they not allow it?? I havent actually been sacked, but as i said, there is no way for me to do the job without a car.
Thanks

  • It would be up to the decision maker whether they would decide to sanction you between 2-26 weeks, but you should ensure you present your case well. If you are sanctioned you could claim for hardship and challenge the decision.
