What is classed as an additional reception room???

    What is the binbag dance???

I have never cleaned a window in my life  Any tips???

I put loads of things, over 5 in a charity bag that I had through the door. It's outside my house waiting to be collected. Does this count???

Don't have pets/poo tray but do have 2 dirty nappy stacker's in the house so I'll do these instead :( hate this job!

Bin bag dance is apparently where you dance around a room filling a black bin bag with as much rubbish as you can find. You dont have to stay in one room to complete it.

Windows: one method is to spray with a proprietary window cleaner and rub with a dry lint free cloth; or you can use neat (or half anf half) WHITE vinegar (no it doesnt smell), spray that on, wipte off with a ball of screwed up newspaper and then buff with a dry lint free cloth if there are any streaks.

    Happy Burns Day everyone:

Was trying to find a small bit of appropriate prose to go along with the occasion:

Thy wee-bit housie, too, in ruin!
    It's silly wa's the win's are strewin!
An' naething, now, to big a new ane,
    O' foggage green!

Don't know what it means but it looks clever :D:D:D

Have had a shockingly frustrating last night, morning so far. Went to bed last night with an 8/10 sore arm (anything past a 7 normally makes me vomit!!), so dosed up with as many pain killers as could legally take :p slept beautifully, and miraculously perfectly better this morning. Maybe a trapped nerve that managed to untrap itself ?????

This morning, everything was going great until jumped into (clean) car, and realised battery was flat (had radio on yesterday as I was washing and cleaning it) grrrrr . Had to bump off of DH's which made him miss the train :( and get megga grump!! Anyway, ended up driving him to work so he was chuffed and saved him the train squeeze :).

Have caught up on all the readings and want to send heartfelt hugs to all who need them :kisses3: x

Anyway, the room is sparlkling but the smell lingers. This is a reccurring problem and can take days to go. The window is open and I've used the ouder neutrlising sprays. I have put a few sprigs of rosemary in my oven for now to disguise the smell but honestly, it doesn't :(. If any of you experienced Flyers have any tips I would be most greatful to recieve them.

    Hugs for you hun.

As well as everything else your doing, Get a tub of Bicarbonate of Soda and sprinkle it all round the room, carpets, beds, everywhere.

After a few hours, hoover it up. It really helps with the smell.

My little one is a bed-wetter and this has worked for me. Hope this helps xx

Conservatory, second lounge, third lounge, drawing room (if you're very posh!!)

Binbag Dance - grab a bin bag and run around the house like crazy for 5 minutes flinging as much carp away as poss, usually to very loud music!!!

Big hugs to you play2day, and a special one to DS3 too :):)

What about some lavender sachets that could be hung up high in room so DS can't reach them, or hide them somewhere he definitely can't. The aroma is also meant to be quite relaxing and might help him sleep.

You could make them yourself or get one from local supermarket??

I'd have asked to be moved too.. or just moved anyway.. I rarely go out without the children and I sure as heck don't want to listen to other peoples children twittering on while I eat. The fact you enjoyed yourselves should also be weighed against how much the other couple would have enjoyed themselves had they not moved.. they may have lost a baby recently, she could have had a miscarriage last week or maybe they were unable to conceive a much wanted child of their own.. sitting close to other children, especially a baby, however cute he may be, could have been very painful for them under those circumstances.

.. And I could happily murder the parents that allow their hcildren to wander around and run about when people are eating/serving.. downright irresponsible and dangerous..

This couple would have been in their late 50's. What i don't understand is that it is a family restaurant and there is two floors. The owner should really have the top floor for couples/adults and the bottom floor for family's, it would make it alot easier. Plus seeing as it is a family restaurant then people should expect to see and hear children. I most say the kiddies behaved well, Rhys just smiled at everyone and the rest just talked and coloured in their pictures ( no running about or shouting). I suppose some people just don't like noise, children ect. I just thought it was abit rude to say it loudly enough for us to hear eventho the manager was right beside her.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.
    :j :j
  • Thanks,

I only have 1 living room, a dinning room and the kitchen so I guess it just the kiddies room as I don't have any spare rooms either

Will do bin bag dance but will probably be to the sound of CBeebies to keep the little one amused:)
