    It had been around 20p for well over a year then within 1 day ( had the receipt to check) it went up to 48p !!! in one day!!It is till at hte higher price so we stopped buying it!

    Sadly I agree.

    It's easy to contact Asda. I have written directly to the manager at our local store twice. It was about customer service or 'disappearing' lines rather than prices. I got a bland (but speedy) response which I found a bit patronising so I doubt whether I'll bother again - unless I'm particularly incensed.
