Google the company's name + scam.......hey presto [not always but works a lot].Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why then you're as thick and stupid as the moderators on here - MSE ForumTeam0

thx all..........I phrased my query badly. I'm looking for a list of online firms who, for any reason, have earned a neg press from some of their customers.0

Nope, not badly phrased. Second question asks the same as the op, imnsho.
(By the way, how much are you offering to deposit in the sites' liability funds?)0 -
OP surely you would only be interested in websites if you were considering making a purchase there? Just do a search on google and see if you can find customer reviews and that should give you an indication of if they are good or bad.0

so they can change names to avoid bad press
This is a problem. A company can be shut down one day and opened on a new domain within just a few hours.
UK domain names are controlled by nominet.org.uk where you can do a "WhoIs" lookup. Type in the domain name and it will tell you when the domain was registered. It is a good start to try this and see if the company has just been set up recently (by the created date).
Also check their contact page has a physical address (not a PO Box number). If they list a PO Box or no address at all, they are breaking the law and perhaps are trying to hide something.0 -
www.youthejury.com is this what you mean?0
