Zoombits.co.uk = Scam

I placed an order with zoombits.co.uk just under a month ago. I had heard that zoombits was part of memorybits a seemingly legit company.

Two weeks went by and my items didnt arrive. I tried using links in their emails they had sent me to reply to them, they said click here to contact us. The links were all dead. I then used the online chat customer service feature on their website. The person told me that the item was out of stock and it wouldnt be in stock for weeks. I asked why i hadnt been informed and the person said er i dont know. I asked for a full refund and the person said ok. They told me i would have it back within 7 days. I paid through paypal and was told the money would go into my paypal account. 9 days went past and nothing. I then get an email saying you will be refunded within 7 days. Still nothing. I then sent an email to customer services and was told that my money had been refunded weeks ago, which was a lie. I checked with paypal and nothing was in my account.

Zoombits told me to contact paypal and are no longer replying to me. Any email i send them seems to bounce back now, so it seems they have blocked my email address.

I have lodged a claim with paypal but that will take around 30days (according to paypal) to go through. And even with that there is no gurantee that i will get my money back.

Not happy at all.

I would recommend people avoid using zoombits.co.uk.

I created a threat on hotukdeals about zoombits.co.uk and within a day someone who works for zoombits created a fake account and started saying how the company was amazing. It was clear to see that it was an employee. The account was created that day and they had left comments on numerous pages saying omg zoombits are amazing. Hotukdeals have banned this member.

If paypal cant get my money back. Where do i stand? what can i do?
