How do I email .MOV files please please

:(I have taken a load of videos and downloaded them onto my computer.

They have saved as .MOV files.

But when I try to email them it says they are too big!!

Please can one of you clever people help me!

you can use winzip to make a compression file that is splits up the zip into smaller files which you can email 1 part at a time. Most email accounts have a 10MB limit on attachment. the person who recieves it has to download each attachment and then using winzip uncompress the file which will stitch all the files in the zip to make your original movie.

Hi there. Most email accounts are limitted to what they can receive files size wise.

Movie files are normally quite large so even if you compressed them to 10 meg individuals, you would only be able to send one at a time...all in all a bit tedious.

I would look for a free file server. Search google for free file server and select the one in position 2

this should allow free space up to 500Meg.

PS...when you have up loaded the files....simply email the recipient a link to the file location and a password if required

you use winrar same method as winzip or another option would be to get some online storage such as http://www.adrive.com/ with 50gb online storage can save to there and give friends a http link for them to click and download. just sign up for free basic account.

also forgot if your friend has msn messenger once rared up can send file thru this without 10mb email limit as long as just do file transfer.

https://www.dropbox.com - similar to the other free storage solutions but I like it because it is multi-platform (including iPhone)

Skype is also good for person-to-person file transfers.
