Own up if you are claiming for pothole damage!!

I'm not. One of my wheels got absolutely mangled (although somehow the tyre escaped). I went to the scrapyard, bought another wheel for £20 and got them to swap the tyre over.

If my car had been seriously damaged, like suspension/steering rack etc, I might have thought about claiming as I'm only insured TPFT and couldn't afford to fork out for extensive repairs which would cost far more than the car is worth.

Only the unobservant few that think a steering wheel is for mounting auxilliary CD/Sat Nav controls to and not an aid for maneouvering around road hazards.

im claiming for a £2.35 laundry bill i bounced over one and spilled red hot coffee all over my t shirt.*
it wasn't my fault so why should i clean it?
