I just want to share my experience with Very.
I have ordered from them previously, completely problem free. However, placed an order on 21st Dec, to be delivered 22nd Dec. On AM of 22nd Dec received phone call to say one of the items, a Bench jacket, have been stolen and I would not be receiving this. They credited this back to my debit account and ordered me another one account using the credit account. £42 showing on my credit account.
Next day, both coats turn up, I informed them what had happened. £84 now showing on my credit account.
24th Dec, returned one of the coats to my local collect plus.
Kept an eye on tracking, waiting...and waiting...
13th January, coat recieved by Very, £42 credited back to my account.
19th January, paid off remaining amont on Very account (£42)
Just checked my account today, wanted to close it after the trouble I had, found they have added 'Return correction - £42' to my account, and the are now saying I owe them for a coat.
Other than this, and the problems with CollectPlus (item was only collected from the shop on 11th January when I emailed collectplus wondering what was going on), they also peed me off using credit. I don't have a credit account with anyone, and having accidently opened one with Very, had asked for it to be closed god knows how many months ago. They then put the coats on to this 'closed' credit account.
Prior to today, I have sent a complaint, to which I received an automated reply. Emails of know use whatsoever. I have just spent 20 minutes trying to get through to them to find out !!!!!! they are doing. Apparently they will look into it.
Just sent another complaint, bet it gets me nowhere.
USELESS!!!!!!
