yahoo mail problem.. weird one

for the last few days whenever i try to access yahoo mail i get the compose mail page come up... if i cancel that and click inbox i still get compose mail screen despite it saying in the address bar inbox... in fact i cant access anything except compose mail screen

now this is where it gets weird.. i can access other yahoo mail addresses fine from my laptoo (i tried my husbands ... no problem at all)... i then used husbands computer and can access my account fine there but not on my laptop

any ideas??? at the moment i have redirected all my mail to outlook express but its jus annoying and i cant think how to sort it

try deleting your temporary internet files (under tools>internet options in Internet Explorer). You may need to do the cookies as well.

thanks for the suggestion... i did this.. i even uninstalled and reinstalled yahoo jus in case

oh well at least i can still get to the mails but its a weird thing... prob jus some more of good ole yahell lol

Are you using yahoo beta mail? If not, give it a go, it's quite good and may solve your problem.

hmm i am not sure if i am using beta or not... how would i know??

if i am not where can i update it ?? the only page i could see u had to sign up to yahoo plus and pay for it

It'll say Yahoo Beta top left screen. If you don't have it and you want to give it a go, click on options when you're signed in to your mail account and you'll see a banner giving you the option to try yahoo mail beta.:j

well would u belive i went in to do as u suggested this morning and my mail is all back to normal

aaah the joys of yahoo lol

i may try the beta anyways .. many thanks for yr help
