I would be grateful if anyone could help or advise please.
While trying to install games and applications on my PC, installation stops midway throught with a message I/O Devixe error. Then the process has to quit.

- from CD or file?
- what is the error in detail?
- do you have local administrator permissions (generally needed to install software)?
- has this always happened or just started?
