reccomend a Sound Bar speaker for LCD TV

The speakers on our LG 37" LCD are absolutely naff. I'v elooked around at Home theatre kits but I don't want the multiple speaker set-up so I've come across Sound Bars...

Budget is still limited though at £100. Would prefer 5.1 and must have Optical input.

Any other features I should be looking for? Anybody seen any bargains about

question what do you think 5.1 is?
would it be a speaker in each corner etc etc or do you think is sound bar was the correct solution? to quote sharp
The Sound Bar was designed to simulate a surround sound effect without the bulk and added cost of a full home theater audio system.
sorry but i would save you money and not waste it. you would be better off having a proper 5.1 with the correct amount of speakers! if you do buy something for £100 listen to the matrix when the bullets are being fired and see if you jump out of your seat i'll lay money on it you dont not going to hear it behind you with a sound bar!
