Just a quick question our car is on finance and we got a settlement figure for £3700 but we advised the dealer it would cost £3900 to settle, would the other £200 go to us or against the new car were buying?

    A settlement figure is a settlement figure... Dunno why you advised the dealer of the extra £200?!

    if the settlement figure is only 3700 it doesn't mean the car isn't worth 3900, that is what i was offered cash by sell my car.com

    what i meant was i told the dealer i wanted 3900 for mine, not to settle but as part ex

    so the £200 will go in your pocket or get knockewd off the balance of the new finance deal

    Has he agreed to give you £3900 for your car? He may not value it as that much.
