Can anyone advise. I want to claim for PPI against a Tesco Loan. Should I cancel the present PPI on my loan straight away and then claim?

Hi and welcome
You can cancel whenever you want, you can do this the same time as reclaiming if you want to, it does not matter, or wait until they sort the reclaiming out first, either way is up to you.
More on reclaiming here:
http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/reclaim/ppi-loan-insurance
Useful link here, with guidelines of reclaiming, templates, a check list of mis selling reasons and so on, they have 8 weeks in full to respond and post by recorded delivery.
Good luck with this, please let us know how you get on and ask for help anytime.;)

There is no harm in ringing them to cancel, but personally I would also put it into writing as well, and post by recorded delivery so you know this have reached them.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
