Hi all

Just wondered if anyone can point me in the right direction Re HSBC for reclaiming
Should i write to my local branch where I applied for the loan or the head office
I've been toying with the thoughts of reclaiming but now I want to do something about it
Thank T

    Hi there
Whoever sold you the loan is the ones you write to, so if they have a complaints dept or main office then its okay to write to them, they will however deal with your complaint by passing it on the correct dept for you anyway.

this link is useful, check this out for guidelines of reclaiming, templates, and a check list of mis selling reasons, they have 8 weeks in full to respond, keep at them, and post letters by recorded delivery for your proof of posting.

Good luck with this, please keep us posted and ask for help anytime as well.;)

    Hi Darren

You don't have to send anything with your letter, but if you do only send copies and not the originals.;):)

    Well done Darren.:T
Yes that is correct, they have 8 weeks in full, so keep an eye on the 8 weeks now, if you hear absolutely nothing by then you can take this to the FOS, or if they do not uphold in your favour, sometimes they give you the opportunity to write back to them with further information.;)

    Fingers crossed.
