Covering brown UPVC windows

Hi

Just moved into a house where the original 1930s steel Crittall windows have been replaced with horrible brown UPVC windows..As I can't afford to replace at the moment, is there any way of spraying the windows white or covering up there revolting brown finish?

Thanks

Spray 'em - nah! What a mess!!!!:D Clean them very very thoroughly, apply UPVC primer then paint as normal. Be warned though - some peeps get great results that last years, others make a bog of it and its off in a very short time. Prep is everything.

    Cheers
