Hi all,
On my old PC, whenever I was typing text in any program, (e-mails, threads etc), any mis-spelt words would automatically be underlined in red. But, on my new Laptop running W7, nothing is being highlighted as being mis-spelt when it is!
Any idea how to turn this function on?

Hi, I've gone through all the tabs under options, but the only reference I can see about correcting spelling whilst typing is to do with browsing only?dell.mannn wrote: »Options setting."Hope for the Best

Hi Snow, I don't myself use the new version of IE (8) but I did used to use http://www.iespell.com/ - it's completely free, very lightweight, and does the job

Hi, I use firefox for browsing but just find it odd that there is nothing built in to every program for highlighting mis-spelt words, every PC I've ever worked on has had this function?Hi Snow, I don't myself use the new version of IE (8) but I did used to use http://www.iespell.com/ - it's completely free, very lightweight, and does the job

I use Firefox too;) ; iespell is free though; I suspect that there might be a free add-on for IE but I simply detest the browser and so I'm not concernedSnowWhiterThanWhite wrote: »Hi, I use firefox for browsing but just find it odd that there is nothing built in to every program for highlighting mis-spelt words, every PC I've ever worked on has had this function?
