Xbox Live! Dumb Question! :(

Hi all,

Sorry for asking a really stupid question no doubt!

We have an Xbox here that we brought brand new from the store last Sept, anyway we have never subscribed to any subscription package, the gold thingy...lol

Well my son and hubby are now wanting to get a subscription, but I read everywhere that it comes with 1 month free trial subscription. As we have never used it, will it be there when they go to set up an account on it? I am so sorry I really dont have a clue what I am doing here.

Not 100% sure on this but you either get that 1 month free when you register or you should of got a code with your new xbox to enter when you register in fact just asked my son and he says you should get it when you register.

The way I've always done it, is to create a Silver account. As they are keen for you to upgrade to Gold, they never fail to give a months trial.

You get one months gold free when you subscribe online. Just make sure you don't click subscribe gold! Click subscribe silver and it will provide you with one month free. You can do this for around 6-8 profiles.
