Hiya,
Our bathroom is getting fairly damp, so I want to fit an extractor fan controlled by a humidistat.
It's a fairly small room (approx 8 sqm) with an external wall.
Any recommendations?

We fit loads of the following
Nuaire Genie X (not a humidistat fan but a continous duty ie it has a trickle mode that works all the time)
Envirovent Filterless Extractor Fan - has a patented humidistat trickle mode
google either name and you should see where you can get from OR send me a pm and i'll send you the link of where I buy mine from.
I fit these every week, sometimes every day
hope this helps
DDThe advice I give on here is based on my many years in the preservation industry. I choose to remain anonymous, I have no desire to get work from anyone. No one can give 100% accurate advice on a forum if I get it wrong you'll get a sincere apology and that's all:D

Do what I did last week - whack a 10cm hole through your wall and plonk one of these sexy babies in - nice and unobtrusive. I set it to overun for about 25 minutes and its a huge improvement - no steam on the mirror when it would normally be a complete sauna lol.
I plan to whack a window in as well though to help eventually.0 -
I bought a fan with humidistat from Screwfix for about £30- works absolutely fine. Can't see any reason to spend much more.0
