Hi all, just wondering if anyone has any views on this caravan site? Not one review on trip Adviser and do like to get an idea of people's experiences before we go anywhere. Also is Padstow nice for a two year old? Any recomendations for days out etc? Thanks in advance.:)

WE stayed at Bodmin for 5 days. Padstow was really busy, we could never get parked, had to take the park and ride. As for getting the ferry over from Rock - we gave up several times as we could not get parked. There are lots of beaches in the area but it depends on when you are going.
There is not a huge amount in the vicinity unless you want to travel.
However, if you have a 2 year old this might interest you, we stayed about 10 minutes from Padstow here: http://www.higherlankfarm.co.uk/index.html last summer. I am not sure when you want to go but my kids had an amazing time.0 -
Hi,
Have a look on https://www.ukcampsite.co.uk campsite search, it's really good website for campsite reviews and does have a review of Harlyn Sands:

Yes it is expensive but we went in the summer holiday and it was £425 which we thought was a steal for B&B plus all you get - and the breakfast was amazing. Made a change from Butlins. It was lovely as we had breakfast and the kids could run around and play and we got to finish our breakfast instead of having to do everything around the kids. You do not need to take anything for little ones, they have it all there already. This is the last year we can go and we do not think we'll get there. They also have an agreement with kennels nearby and you can take your dogs out during the day and kennel them nearby at night.
We just went around the coastline seeing different beaches and areas and one night at 7pm we decided we would go to the beach as the tide would just be going out and it was packed as lots of other families had the same idea. It was 9pm when we left and DD were in the deep rockpools swimming around in their pants and t-shirts. It was fantastic.
I wanted to post a pic of the kids giving the lambs their bottles but I could not get it to work.0
