There's a Travel Lodge/Travel Inn fairly close, will look it up later for you.

Bournemouth Airport is actually in Christchurch!

Just had a look at previous poster's link. The St Leonards Hotel is a good choice.

I'd have said St Leonards was a bit of a trek from a night flight, though depends which way onward travel is.
The innkeepers lodge on the Cooper Dean roundabout(A338) is probably closest 'cheapy' http://www.innkeeperslodge.com/

or the new Village hotel is a minute further along the same road next to Bournemouth hospital, also a choice of two Travel Inns, one at Christchurch Road Bournemouth, other at Bailey Bridge, Christchurch

Woby, I couldn't find details of the hotel next to the Bournemouth Hospital (that would have been my first choice) as I thought it was a travel inn/lodge, so thanks for that (they do a wonderful carvery there!).

Another option is The Bridge House Hotel at Longham.

As you said, it depends which way onward travel is.

Inn Keepers and Travel Inn no spaces, although they offered me a room in Brighton, did'nt fancy the 88 mile trip !!.
All the rest when you click on and submit requirements they work out very expensive, even Travelodge wanted 70 quid !!

    Looks like I'm driving back.
