Can any one shed any light on what's happened here, please
I've got a desk top PC running XP with Mailwasher, also a "new" laptop running win7 with Mailwasher
have been using Mailwasher for a number of years with no problems, until Friday
firstly,desktop PC
can't receive or send any email's either through mailwasher or through microsoft outlook
also on my laptop (a new xmas present) its the same on there, well almost, can't receive any emails via mailwasher, however can receive them just running windows mail etc, however the funny thing here is most of my emails yesterday all came through either before or all at 08:38, once I went through windows mail, I noticed that they all had the same details (time wise on)
can any one shed any light on what's happened, why can't I receive or send any email from my desktop
and how come they nearly all came through at the same time 08:28 (Friday morning)
any help/advice would be appreciated, thanks

I suspect your ISP may be having issues with their servers.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0

thanks for the replies, however I'm still not able to receive or send emails from the desk top PC either receive via mailwasher, or receive straight through outlook
yet last night I could receive through windows mail on the laptop
any way round trying to fix it
thanks0 -
From what I can gather, your problemwith email has been duplicated and you cant do one or either on two different PC's with two different OS's.
If thats correct there are two consistants.
1. the ISP
2. Mailwasher
I doubt its the ISP unless they have changed their port logins for wmail but I guess they would have told you about this prior to doing it.
For me I would remove mail washer and then see if your ISP is responding correctly.
If so, then download latest version and reinstall. If not, let us knowComputers are like me, I get up in the morning and work...until I stop.0 -

was thinking about deleting Mailwasher, then running it again, will have a go and report back, thanks0
