Why haven't I had any interest paid on my Halifax savings account?

Forgive me if I'm just being a bit dim, but I've had a Halifax Variable Web Saver account since October 2009. In that time no interest transactions have been added to the account. I'm sure I picked this account due to unlimited withdrawals so I could use it with my Reward Current Account, is interest paid yearly or something?

Always read the terms of accounts you are opening and then you will know when to expect interest to be credited.Forgive me if I'm just being a bit dim, but I've had a Halifax Variable Web Saver account since October 2009. Yes, interest on the Halifax variable-rate WebSaver is paid annually on the anniversary of the account opening.
Look at what you signed up for here - http://www.halifax.co.uk/savings/ImportantInfo/ImpInfo_VariableRateWebSaver.asp0 -
Annually ..... on the anniversary. But at maximum 0.2% (or 0.25% if you asked for a card) ..... you'll hardly notice it when it is paid!
If it's an account you feel you need to use ..... look at this link. You can add a further 0.2% - not magnificent - but it does double the interest (all the way from paltry to meagre?) :-
