Ted Baker Messenger Bag?

Hi. I bought a Ted Baker bag from Ted Baker shop only a few months ago. I purchased this product during October 2009. The material of this is similar to another ted baker bag...

I have not used that product that much. however, what i have noticed is that the "leather" appears to be coming off...and instead of having a brown bag...it is now brown and "cream" patchy...i.e. parts of the "leather" are "coming off".
The bag does not look used...what can i do? I believe i have spent too much on rubbish. I would like either a replacement or refund...but do i have any leg to stand on?
Also, does any MSE work in Ted Baker in Birmingham (just save me telling the same story again...)
