British gas websaver

Hi

I am currently on british gas dual fuel standard rate. Having looked at there websaver it looks to be a good offer. It seems to be 6% cheaper then standard rate, you get paperless billing (as i do now) but you are lock in until june 2010 but then with it being cheaper that doesn't seem a problem.

Anyone had any problems with the websaver rates or anyone else on it and think it is worth it?
Thanks

It is a lot more than 6% cheaper; I think you will find that they Guarantee to be at least 6% cheaper.

The actual savings vary according to your consumption and area. However in my area(Midlands0 for someone with the average UK consumption of 20,500kWh gas and 3,300kWh electricity BG Websaver 5 is 18% cheaper than BG standard dual fuel(£930 against £1,140) so it is a 'no-brainer' to switch today.

In June look again, almost certainly BG will have another tariff by then.
