Yeah I think it's something to do with the fact that we don't pay as much for our ticket / chance. It's the same as a local TV quiz show that has prizes in both GBP and Euro - the Euro prize is always 1 1/2 times the sterling prize, but the cost to enter is also 50% greater.
I'll have to sort this out!:rotfl:

Not sure if anyone has subscribed to this, but have a look at tonights prizes.

You got more money for matching 5 numbers £67K than you did for matching 5+1 lucky star - £39K
No Longer works for MBNA as of August 2010 - redundancy money will be nice though.

    No - 5 + 1 star get £395,255.90 each - that's £395k rather than £39k

OMG one winner in the UK - she rushes off to check her ticket:rotfl: (be back to let you know if it was me....if I don't come back....well it obviously wasn't me;))

The UK prize fund for matching 5+1 is £1,581,023.60

Paid out to UK winners was £395,255.90

If there were 12 UK winners matching 5+1 and receiving £395,255.90 the fund would be £4,743,070.90.

Looks like there was 4 UK winners matching 5+1 and recieving £395,255.88 each. The other 8 winners were from Europe.

Looks like there were 5 UK winners who matched 5 numbers, each winning £67,300. The other 15 winners were from Europe.

The Number of Winners (the second column) is whole of Europe winners - look at the top jackpot prize winners

No of winners 2, only one in UK.

For the sake of argument Europe means any country taking part in the Euromillions apart from England and UK means England.
