Goofbay snipe - warning

Just to let you know, if anyone uses the Goofbay Snipe facility, beware! Yesterday I organised a goofbay snipe of £50 to bid 5 seconds before the end of the auction. Later I got an email telling me that I had been outbid. When I checked it out, I found the snipe had not been made and the item went for £15. I was soooo disappointed!
I should have realised that there was a problem because about 10 days ago I was outbid by £1.50 on an item but Goofbay sent me an email telling me I'd won the item. I will never trust it again.

Just imagine if it decided to pay £10,000 for an item at the last second instead lol
Simply keep away from sniping programs, you learnt the easy way I would think

5 seconds is too short, leave it set at around 8.0

I've also just lost an ebay item using goofbay!!
My maximum bid was £230 to be placed 10 seconds before the end, but goofbay states I lost due to being outbid, but the final price was £102!!
Aarrghh!!! I've usually been happy to use goofbay but not any more!!0 -
I use prospector all the time and have never had any problems, all my snipes are also left to the last 2 seconds0

Just lost out using Goofbay as well - snipe set at £106 with 5 secs - item sold for £85 - Goofbay says 'you were outbid'
It's a real shame as I've been using Goofbay for a couple of years and this is the first time it's failed, but that's all it takes - never using it again!0
