Order of jobs and who to do them

Hi all,

Looking at updating the living room it currently has an old gas fireplace, dark wood daydo rail and skirt, and wallpaper.

Just wondering who I will need to do the jobs and what order I should do them so it will go as smoothly as possible....

Looking to:-

Remove gas fireplace - install hole in wall electric (maybe need fake chimney breast installed)

Install Plasma TV on wall above fireplace and speakers front and back hiding wires

Remove wallpaper (maybe wall damage? need a plasterer?)

Remove daydo rail and skirt (maybe wall damage? need a plasterer?))

Fit laminate flooring

Paint

(I think that is all needed to be done)

Thanks for all your comments...

    1. Remove gas fireplace..................

    2. Remove wallpaper....................

    3. Remove dado rail...........................

    3a. Cable for TV

    4. Paint ceiling, walls and woodwork (except skirtings) in that order

    5. Install Plasma TV.....................and speakers...............

    6. Fit laminate flooring

    7. Fit skirting boards (already primed and undercoated mitre external corners and scribe internal) to hide expansion gap for laminate.

    8. Paint skirtings.

    Cheers
